King kenny,

How did the vet Dovi "wipe the floor" with Cal in his second season??

I dont get it, theres no way you really belive that, if Dovi was riding a space bike with anti gravity he'd still finish fourth.

Your posting purley out of hate!

Don't tell me your an r6 cup parent, your little Billy should have got all the sponsors right!

Wake up

@rod99

Dovi finished 60 points ahead of cal last year. And that could be seen as Dovi wiping the floor with Cal, even if Cal dominated Dovi in qualifying. It's points that count!

Dovi finished 60 points ahead of Cal, and got on the podium 6 times while Cal only 2. Now look at their results race by race:

Dovi: 5-5-4-7-3-19-3-3-3-4-3-4-4-3-4-13-4-6
Cal: 4-4-5-8-5-6-5-8-6-5-Ret-3-Ret-4-Ret-Ret-3-Ret

I rest my case.

Cal continues to impress me with his pace. I'm quickly becoming a fan and I hope he can maintain this momentum and challenge for wins...I really want to see him spoil the party... in a good way.

Props Cal!!!

The one statistic that is worth bearing in mind is that every year that Crutchlow has remained in a championship he has performed significantly better than the year before.

Riders mature at different rates, just as they peak at different stages, which is why it's not really relevant how he's performed against any given rider in the past.

The only question now is how much more he has improved for this year, and just how far that improvement can take him.

OK so Crutchlow finished higher than Rossi in the timesheets today. Will Cal ever win a single MotoGP title let alone however many Rossi has won? Very very (as in highly) unlikely. 10 years from now there will be not even remotely be a comparison between the numbers the 2 riders have put up.

KK,

Rossi is good marketing value? Dig the sales numbers at yamaha and show us how their bike sales were increased because of Rossi.

He did sell a lot of that yellow stuff for sure. A friend of a friend has his whole bedroom decorated with Rossi yellow paraphernalia. But he rides a suzuki.
