If you look for some images, or if you've been following Lorenzo's style these past seasons, you'll know Lorenzo takes his elbow out in left handed corners and pulls it in in right handers. He doesn't seem to slide it, though. He's been riding like this for a few seasons now.

As for other riders, they may be following the trend set by Marquez like they followed Rossi's leg out during braking. But Lorenzo is impervious to trends - he just does his think, his own way. Always.

As you said Jorge' does his own (think) thing.
He is without a doubt the Smoothest rider out there, and Never gets his feet off the pegs when Braking/Cornering.
Rossi started doing it when He was Nervous in
The Wet and then it became a Habit!
Jorge's style proves that Dangling you Foot out is just Not Necessary!

Well, not necessary for him. But Rossi's style is so different from Lorenzo's, maybe for him it works better that way.

As a Lorenzo fan, I've got to say I'm really excited to see Rossi back in the team and looking strong as ever. It could be a great season.

Oh dear...silly bobkinsracer!
Anyone who can get paid millions of pounds to travel around the world and race motorcycles and still have a face like a smacked **** does not deserve to be there. Don't bring the Moaner up again, he 's a Tshirt at best. Yes he was a great rider but 2 Championships in how ever many years is not all that great really is it?? This season promises to be amazing. I do wish the Moaner was still here because it would be all the better for the fans as 5 could be racing for wins. Why do you hate Vale so?? Is it because you don't like popular people??

Oh dear. I guess 23 wins on a bike nobody else could ride isn't THAT great of an achievement. Jumping on the Honda and getting 10 wins and winning the ship when pedrosa hasn't been able to do that since 06 isn't really all THAT impressive. Beating Rossi more times than he beats you isn't THAT great of an accomplishment.
