if 10 riders are on track, a traffic jam, really is difficult to generate. The problem though is made visible by for example marquez/ pedrosa and asparago/ lorenzo. They try to follow ultra close to get a tow and in the case of marquez this caused almost a crash when pedrosa, for no reason rolled off the throttle. asparago left early as smart as he stopped wasting time and risk a fall

I haven't seen rossi much during the qualifying, but he is surely faster than 7th you don't have to be one-eyed for that...He will have to make a podium though.

Dovi :hats off,but lets see if he can keep this position over the line: then I'm really impressed. If he only makes 6th he's just will confirm the ducati average position...

@ lad...
In motogp grid position means absolutely nothing, remember Sepang 2010 Rossi won that race from the bottom end.
Gee mate, you really dug deep there to back your biasedness. I'm surprised we didn't get all the stats, records etc...Sometimes we all have to let go of someone when they are not performing... unfortunately Rossi isn't...

@ Ausrossi

Most of the naysayers (probably one - three people posting the same stuff under different pseudonyms) probably didn't even watch the QP, so trying to explain to them what happened is not worth the time. You can't reason with idiots.

If you cant find a spare bit of track in 3.3 miles over 15 minutes on a bike then you have your strategy wrong. Lorenzo and Crutchlow managed the space just fine.
There is nothing wrong with the qualifying, its exactly the same as before as the last 10 minutes was when it heated up, just less bikes on the track now.

Sad that there are so many posts on a Rossi thread because he had a poor Qually, and so few on Jorge's thread where he had a good one.

People....have a little think about what you want from MotoGP.

It's funny I remember when Stoner had comments like this he was called the biggest wincher:) Now he is not here to bag anymore, reckon Rossi have done nothing but coming up with excuses this weekend Headache, Traffic, but as a fan of Stoner I do not care I hope Vale do well, and I hope the Vale fanboys read this and take a good look of what they have been talking about the last 7 years:) Go MM
Cheers Claes
