He became now a new king of moaner? I hope not but the way he spoke everytime and it looks the way it is...traffic? Did dorna changed the rules just to fix this issue? Hhmmm. I hope he can get the podium cuz the media is waiting for his next excuses. Lorenzo looks so strong but ill give cal and dovi a credits!

do you all really think that after being within a couple of tenths all testing and leading one practice session that he suddenly just dropped a second to lorenzo? he is not nearly as consistent and traffic added to the situation he came 7th its pretty simple
he will improve in the race but a 1/10 shot at a win at best

Traffic ? there was only 12 bikes on the track. FP3 its was a Head ache.
Rossi has all the excuse under the sun.

Dovi on the Ducati tells us even more about Rossi performance

Haha the haters are a bunch of predictable repetitive sounding bunch of moaners! No one is moaning here but the guys that can't let go that their hero has left and that Rossi has been out of the top 5 for the first time since his return to Yamaha.

It's funny because they only have today to do this as tomorrow will be a different story, as I'm aware Rossi's race pace is very strong & he has led all of the practice sessions until the last few minutes.

Enjoy the season you deluded haters that have at most probably only been watching MotoGP for 3-4 years and they don't know as much as they think

You have make up crap all you like today as it won't happen as much over the season!

JL and VR did most laps in 1'56.
That would be the race ace I guess..
JL s machine must say.....impressive lap time sheet.
VR would be stronger in race qualifying order belie-ing
his race pace.

3rd row isnt a problem, he has the race pace to get up front really quick, if he gets a good start which im sure he will by turn 1 he will be in top 3, and he will be chasing down his team mate and pass.
we have seen him go from last to first on a Yamaha, this is no problem.

Qualifying is now an integral part of the competition, it can be and HAS been often more excitement than many races.
So DON'T disregard it's importance as part of the big show, if your rider doesn't do well in qualifying, it's NOT because he wasn't trying.
Rossi and his team aren't amateurs and to think for one moment they didn't analyse the session beforehand is simply excuse making at its finest.
Dovi showing how to do the best with what he's got compared to Rossi expecting his reputation from years of poor competition to carry him through.
