What's been interesting apart from the racing itself was that Rossi always portrays a standard profile when racing: Prone to mistakes when held back at the back but laser-like focus and no mistakes once in position to pursue his goal. He's fallen or made grave mistakes numerous times when at the back (remember the De Puniet incident at Sachsenring -don't remember year- or 2006 season finale in Valencia and numerous othe times)... but never when close to the front and in "duel" mode. Sole exception Indianapoils against Lorenzo, hitting that dirty patch. What a flood of memories, thanks doc you're definitely back.

I signed up for the MotoGp this year and got all the time trials and practices and now this complete race without the commercials. My wife is happy that I don't have to get up at 5 am on Sunday's anymore.

Great racing, I knew Rossi wasn't done, I think this track suits the Yamaha's better than the Hondas. I think Austin will favor the Honda's a little better. Same pattern, it appears the Yamahas turn a tad tighter. Mark Marquez was impressive and Crutchlow can compete for a podium agains the best factory bikes of Honda and Yamaha. Pedrosa is going to have to dig a little deeper and from last year we know he has it in him.

So it was last minutes special tyres, exclusive parts or handicap team mate, or maybe the best bike of the grid. lol Now Honda understood it's the rider and not the Bike. Well done Rossi.

@ Stonahhhh

Almost everybody knows that M1 is the bike that developed by Rossi&Co and Mr Furusawa to what it is today. Plus Rossi now uses a totally different setup to what Jorge uses. He is on a different direction that Jorge, i suspect even different chassis.
