Well what a start to the season. As a lifetime motogp fan I have been more than a little fed up with the racing for the last few years. It became the norm to enjoy Moto 2 and 3 more than the top level. I had high hopes for last night and it deliverd. I found myself jumping out of my seat, clapping and generally making a fool of myself. Welcome back Motogp. What can we take from last night? My first prediction is all the friendly smiles and backslapping between the top riders will stop. Dani is under real pressure, MM will now have a weight of expectation on his shoulders, JL will know from the laptimes that if Rossi gets a good start he will pose a real threat and VR will be under pressure to improve his qualifying which has never been a real strong point. The Hondas appear to have the edge on top speed and the Yams appear to like the twists and turns. I believe all of us who are real fans of the sport should celibrate the return of real racing. Long Live MOTOGP.

I thought the race last night was very interesting and the two riders Yamaha Factory Racing Jorge Lorezo and Valentino Rossi are shown their greatest skill. THIS YEAR the DOCTOR is BACK . . . .

A quote from Hayden's father, "Nicky tells me that bike (Ducati) is trying to kill him." I never raced professionally, but know that the right bike for Tom was not the right bike for me. Fast does not always mean First. Great race. Lorenzo won the race. Rossi stole the show. Looking forward to COTA.
