Wow, Rossi did extremely well today.

That Ducati held back the real Rossi and proved that Stoner was good on the ducati.

Got a feeling the Rookie will bring everyone down a peg but today was Rossis day. He made mistakes, had traffic, had to deal with others mistakes, people chasing him, people holding him up and a dirty track (in order to overtake) all had to be dealt with (which he did).

His team mate on the other hand, had clean air infront of him, could pick which ever (clean) line he wanted and didnt have to protect his position. All the advantages of starting from pole (well done to him) and then following up with a clean start (well done again).

Yes, Rossi deserves all the praise he is getting from fans, the media and the riders (MM of note and also JLO himself).

Marquez will only get faster as he learns more about the GP bike. Rossi was fantastic today, but let's face facts here. Lorenzo checked out. If he doesn't cruise around the last few laps he wins by 10 seconds or more.

Let's hold the championship celebrations for 46 for when he actually wins a race again.

I think Marquez is going to win a race before Rossi does this year.

Sorry for off topic question, But I don't know where else to ask.
After watching and watching the race, I notice something seemingly sticking out from rossis right handlebar.. Anyone know what that is?

With just one race Rossi turned many haters to lovers.. thats what Rossi is.. he knows how to win the heart of the people..something that JL or Stoner cant do even when they are winning races..

Sorry man, the facts state other wise, JLO didnt cruise around....

Laps 11-21 all in the low 1.56s with lap 22 a low 1.57.

Rossi laps 11-22 all in the low 1.56s

The reality is that JLO only backed off on the last lap to the tune of 1 sec.

The 6 sec gap is realistically 7 and was all due to the first 10 laps where coinsidently rossi was passing, being passed and "RACING", while JLO could simply consentrate on consistant lap times with clean air in front of him and no one around him.

Not to your liking I know, but thems the facts.

PS - JLO won the race but when the team looks at the data, they will know that rossi & JB arent goint to simply pick a race off every now and then when some one in front crashes, these guys are seriously going to push if not beat them come years end.

The numbers dont lie. The unkown in all of this is what have each of them got up there sleeves to pull out when the going gets tough?

Thanks man, I know but its just easier to talk one general area as a guide, especially when talking to haters because they really dont deal well with numbers or facts:)

To Bozz: I believe that object sticking out on the right side of the handle bars is a safety device to keep the brake lever from being activated if there was to be contact with another rider. You might have noticed in the past contact between two riders and one of them goes over the handle bars and the bike flips due to the brake lever being activated.
