Impressive noted he's no longer a hater. My guess is that several motogp fans that came in after he was injured in 2010 may think that Rossi is old and done especially at the lackluster results with Ducati but as we diehard fans know that the guy has spirit and intense desire that matches his talent along with the fighting racer mentality that have caught the attention of many a fan. While I don't know if Impressive is in that camp but welcome to having at little better understanding why his fans like him.

Hey Codger how about the haters that veil their comments to being a little positive but their underlying point is to diminish Rossi and his results or accomplishments.

Someone said the three in front were battling which allowed VR to close. When? I saw 1 overtake when Mm passed dani and that was it. Actually its typically easier to go fast in a train like that. The yam guys say they are better with a clear track and I'm guessing its because they use corner speed and momentum more than stop and go acceleration . The Honda slows rhe Yam in the middle of the turn and the yam loses RPM and it doesn't pull as hard as the Honda. I think lorenzi would have won no matter what but the fact is that by the time rossi got by bradl he was almost 8 sec back from Jorge . Only finished 5.9 back . Of course we can't base everything on that but I think its obvious that if rossi had started better he would have walked away from the Hondas. So whoever said Marquez coulda or shoulda beat him was not watching the same race. Rossi was doing 55.7-55.9's while the 3 in front were doing 56.2-56.4's and they were not "battling" and slowing each other down. It was clear to me t

If Rossi makes that early pass on Dovi there was no way Lorenzo was going to get away. Lorenzo is scared. We all know that Rossi is the supreme battler and Lorenzo can't "get away" at every race so his championship hopes are pretty dim at this point. Here comes The Doctor!
