Perfect race for Yamaha
Lorenzo was unstoppable I think even if rossi was qualified in front row hard to beat him Lorenzo a machine
But if u look at rossis race pace he was actually faster then Lorenzo as a whole now all the rossi haters will have to eat humble pie remember this is rossis first race back he can and he will only get better

what a shocker!! everybody picked Marc Marquez for the rambunctious one in the opening laps not Rossi that's for sure az he charged up turn one like a over zellius rookie.... deny it you like but, it was too much too soon proven by the result, had he settled in 1 or 3 laps, I think he could of cought Lorenzo, the end result however was a great race and a fantastic finish, can't wait tell Austin

re: "Hats off to Marquez too, a rookie with no half measures."

agreed, his only achilees heel is he's riding an RC213 as though it were an M2 (understandable). it's more obvious now seeing him in motogp company. gotta keep those wheels in line kid unless you're out front like stoner. in battle here, hanging it out only slows you down.

Rossi and Marquez both were unlucky in qualifying. They should have been further up from the start. But, sh1t happens. Brilliant race from both of them. Absolutely Delighted for rossi. Exceeded my expectations!

Impressive from Lorenzo again. Massively dominant display. Oh yes. This season is going top be frickin amazing!

@ Junka

Never a positive thing to say on a Rossi thread.

Your forecasts for VR in the race were well short of the mark, by the way.

Go back and visit your past comments, think what you contribute to Crash, and think again why you watch MotoGP.

LOL... Just knew this would be the response.... If Rossi did well:

Rossi lovers: Welcome back Doctor. #46 the best! Never doubted him etc

Rossi haters: Well he's on the best bike. He got lucky. Average talent on the best bike etc.

Rossi haters, you lose tonight. Rossi was brilliant. Real race craft. Wait until he has a bad weekend then you can spout your nonsense again for a week or so. Until then, crawl back under your Stones!

Loved that race and wonder if Lorenzo would have had it all his own way if Rossi was a bit calmer at start.
Surprised at the way Rossi started tbh but it made for great race.
Crutchlow needs to learn the art of overtaking.
Pedrosa needs to pull finger out his ass and I fear for his future.
2013 season will be immense roll on Silverstone :-)
