Someone said "Crutchlow cracked under pressure coz of his pace which was enough to compete with Lorenzo."

-Crutchlow never cracked under pressure, he just did not have the bike for a podium. There is an obvious power difference between the factory and the sat Yamahas.

Well I read that some of guys here said rossi won't ever beat Jlo.
Woww, guys, this the first race.. Save your saying for 7th or 8th race later on.
Lemme guess, no one know what jlo feeling to get vale on the podium esp 2nd, he must be kinda Shock !! Believe me, lil bit worry of course, judging by lap time, vale ahead of Jlo, and pretty obvious, jlo cruising that moment or not try to give a fast lap, we never know, since he doesn't need to. So I guess it was 50 : 50 there. Im looking forward for 2nd race. Roll on !

Hi
Great job Rossi, glad you still can ride with a great bike, and that JL kept on developing the Yamaha in to a winner.
You have to watch out, MM learned things from you today and next time he will have more ammunition:)
But still good job to come on podium
Cheers Claes

@fortune rider,
First of all Rossi didn't win, Second he didn't do as well as he did only because of the Yamaha. The Yamaha is a competitive bike allowing him to use his racecraft. The Hondas are clearly superior in acceleration. But remember after being held up, he ran down and passed those Hondas from almost 4 seconds back in just a few laps. Give credit where credit is due.

Im suspecting we wont know the true status of VR v's JLO until the first spanish round where VR usually does weel and likes sticking it to the spanish riders there.

JLO will not want to be shown up at a spanish round so he will be 100% + in the race (ie not cruising even if able to)

My point being, if both fit and both starting in top 3 then we will see a truer picture of VR ability to mix-with / beat JLO.

My personal beleif is that VR can beat JLO (this first race has shown he has the race pace and hunger) but the only unknown for me is how much more in reserve do each of them have? A spanish round will answer that I think.

Hi
#numiii "Woww, guys, this the first race.. Save your saying for 7th or 8th race later on. "
He have been racing Motogp for how many years? He should be top 4 and he just about beat a guy that had like 5 outings on a MotoGP bike, who will soon come between everyone and JL
JL is a class on his own, worthy champ and Rossi might beat him but in the end of the season JL will have like 9 wins and Rossi might have 3, JL will be faster and faster as well as Rossi and so will MM, which will probably increase his pace more than anyone of the others
Cheers Claes

@ Claes,

I am glad to see you again here.

Yet again you're deluding yourself. You know how is it like when you close a huge gap when you're back in 7th twice in just a few laps. you sure you know it.

Hi
TedG he did track them down because he had clear track and they where fighting for positions but you would know that:)
He did a good job, great job would have been winning, he was expected to be 2-4th place so credit to him, but outstanding no:)
#Dave
He had a good start and was 4th after a couple of laps and stuffed it, and therefor he had to work hard,and as you know it is racing, and he stressed lost his cool and therefor came late to the top, and I suppose if Dani had tyre problems MM would to but he is to excited to mention it:) But he did a good job:)
It will take a while to beat JL because we have MM which will be there as well

Cheers Claes

@Claes,

"TedG he did track them down because he had clear track and they where fighting for positions but you would know that"

See, you do understand why Jlo finished 6 seconds clear, Saves me the effort of explaining it to you...
