Nice to hear from an ultra fast newcomer that impresses everybody and pays respect to the riders he's watched for years, rather than moaning about them and punching them in practice.

Marquez did brilliantly today. I can see it being a good few years before he goes fishing!

Well done MM!

without a don't Marc Marquez showed he has what it takes to be a title contender. he showed a lot of maturity in the race, with everyone, commentators too saying he's a lose canon watch out... the ones that need be worried are the top 3, as I can see him taking valuable championship points (Dani) away from them.

and huge props to Cal... wow nobody saw that coming...
give him some more pony's n bits an he'll be fighting for podiums on a consistent level...

Marquez rode a very mature, calculated race to end up on the podium for his first MotoGP.
He was well and truly a cut above the rest in Moto2 and will undoubtedly be on the podium top step very soon.
Well done I say.

Fantastic racing to start the season. Bodes well for the future.

I was almost hating MM in Moto2 for several reasons but I think I could easily turn into one of Marquez's groupie now seeing such a beautiful, magnificent, outstanding riding style.

Just behave properly Marc and you'll have me totally convinced.

This kid is the real deal, as spectacular as it was to see Rossi running up the field Marquez definitely made the statement that he is going to have to be taken seriously as he pulled no punches when running neck and neck with 46!

Dont be surprised to see him on the top step at COTA!
