The kid rode superbly and very confident for a Rookie for sure, this race is always Atypical of the season though. MM is where myself and many would have predicted but as can happen a swallow does not a summer make, He will have Bad days, and hopefully painless crashes throughout this year and right now he is on the cusp of confidence (look at Jlo first season for what I mean). The kid is a talent and fast and he looked quick all weekend where as Dani never did and pulled a lap out for QL. I am sure that Dani will be beating him more times than the other this year, and dani know he HAS to win the WC this year, MM wil lwin but unlike many on here I am registered and make my predictions and stick to them (as I did with Dovi yesterday and was proved right). MM will not be in the Title fight this year 2 maybe 3 wins but he will also have DNF's, the title was Jlo Vs Dani Vs Rossi and after last night I would not count out Rossi at all, he looks as hungry and up for it as he did in 2001

Great ride from MM and absolutely stunning ride from VR. However lets not forget that MM is also the first Rookie to get a works ride immediately since... Well since Lorenzo got a podium in his first race as a Rookie... Don't forget the rules were changed (pretty much at Hondas insistance) to allow such this year. We will never know if there were other Rookies able to do so...
