mr. Cal, you're a fast rider.. but you're a pussy.. you can't put a fight with the top rider... even spies on the sattelite yamaha clearly better than you.. he was able to beat some factory riders on some occasion.. so was dovisioso on satelite yam.. so stop making excuse losing on the straight cause you cannot make a pass on the other fast rider... Rossi was clearly had the same disanvantage on the straight against honda. but he can pass them.. unlike you mr. excuser...

@ Rosifan, I wouldn't go as far as to call him one of those but he clearly worries too much about being a nice guy racer and not to ruffle feathers with hard passes but if you want to win in this sport you gotta be overly aggressive with the bike sometimes and shove the competition out of the way and make them submit or break their rhythm. They clearly show him no mercy during hammer time so why does he?

can't disagree with what rosifan said. yeah, practice and pole times don't mean much come sunday. that's when you see who is the best "racer". now don't go away thinking i dislike Cal, i don't. he's okay, it's just, those times he was at the top of the charts, well, that wasn't racing.

I agree with some of the comments made. I like cal. BUT he makes a lot of excuses all the time and blames not having much support as for the reasons why he can't do the job but it seems to be his mistakes not the bike If that stops him from battlling with the lead guys. If you can do it do it and shut up.

Danimal@ don't get me wrong.. I didn't say he's a bad rider... he's a great rider..He's even greater than dani & marquez, even than Rossi........ but he''s only greater when there's no other riders in front of him to pass..

What race was RossiFan watching ? Oh, Rossi's race, not MotoGP.
Cal Crutchlow is a real gentleman and its not coincidence that it is so easier for factory bikes to make the podium than the satellites and that's how the factories want it.

I have been following this website for a long time now, but seriously, where the hell do all of you commenting idiots come from? Have any of you ridden a bike on a track before? Cal was outstanding yesterday... You can clearly see the lack of top end speed in the straights, how the fck is that an 'excuse'? AND he still managed to catch them up around the rest of the track, only for all his work to go on the straight. He is on a SATELLITE YAMAHA ffs.... Rossi is on the factory bike. Marquez and Pedrosa are on FACTORY HONDAs... Respect Cal, you rode the best for me yesterday considering you don't have the top equipment.... You will be on many podiums this year for sure.

The article does a disservice to the reader when it puts the differences down to "factory power." Qualifying and the practices definitively put the lie to that statement. At this level, consistency over many laps and the ability to maintain the tires (or the talent to ride around the deterioration) for the latter part of the race are a hallmark of the very best riders. Hoping that Cal learns something about high-level racecraft today and learns that lesson, rather than putting it down to "factory power."

Great one by cal but he still seriously lack something,, flying laps in time trails is a thing but stringing together fast lap times at the business end under pressure is another thing,, learn that and till then you really don't belong to that front end this season.

Don't complain about top speed if that was case Honda boys should have won the race...
