"You're truly delusional if you think hayden beat rossi 'fair and square' in 06, hayden will forever be known as the champ with the least amount of wins in his winning season and rossi had a season comparable to spies' 2012 season in terms of unreliability... "

You, sir, are delusional. A MotoGP title is a MotoGP title. He beat Rossi fair and square. It's not about how many wins you have unless you win them ALL. It's how consisten you were the entire year and Nicky was very consistent. He could have won the last race of the year but backed off when Rossi binned it.

There's solid evidence and then there's just being a homer. If you want to hump Rossi's leg that is fine, just don't bash another rider who earned a title rightly so, even when his own teammate took him out (a former teammate that STILL has no MotoGP title I might add...)

@Jason: Not sure how you can say Ducati didn't get embarrassed. They got beaten by second rate Yamahas and Hondas. What that says is Ducati's FACTORY bikes are not even on par with Honda and Yamaha second tier bikes that can't touch their own factory bikes.

In other words, Ducati should just retire from MotoGP or lease bikes from Honda and Yamaha!

Suzuki was never close to Yamaha or Honda in the 4stroke era and once they left everyone couldnt understand why,The Rules havnt changed enough to allow the smaller manufactuers to catch the big two.
At least once Suzuki does return Ducati should have another team to battle for midpack positions.

This is for those that continue to discount Nicky's world championship and say he can't ride. That was an awesome year for our sport! Nicky is fast, he can ride, he is a great ambassador to this sport, and he scored more points than anybody else on the planet.

I hate some don't understand that.
