Anyway the yam deserve win since Losail is Yam friendly. We could see Yam domination in free practices & Qualification. VR podium finisher is a must be. But fighting hard with MM is a funny moment, because MM have no big target this time & he have waste times to enjoy ride behind Pedro.

@ tedleaf

Good post man, the surprise stems from the fact that many of us thought Rossi was over/past it/too old.

Me being one of them.

The race was great, classical Rossi, but that can't be a final proof.
I need more, I still find it hard to believe one can be at his top for so long :).

@ rossi fan

is right the only man who had the pace to challenge JL was VR., if he could beat JL we don konow and we will never know for the qatar race (my opinion he could take him on) but we have 17 races left for sure we will see a dog fight VR & JL

We can say if Rossis did this on lap 13 or his pace was far better than this riders and, he was on quliy pace for most of the race... Jorge won! Lorenzo doesn't care who comes second or third and, it showed when he brought the bike to a standstill. (why do we have to post about the what might have beens?) Rossi and Maquez hade great races but Jorge won...

I think Rossi having the mistake was good for him, gave him a chance to battle his way up and now he's ready, confident. I'm in no doubt he will be fighting Lorenzo for the lead next race.

Half of you guys must be half baked.

What we witnessed yesterday was typical Rossi. And I for one would have not put my money on Lorenzo if it came down to a head to head battle between the two. Just the fact that Rossi is king on worn tires, and his laps towards the end of the race were exceptional! Lorenzo might ride like a machine, but when it comes to battles, riding like a machine won't cut it, IMO. times like that you have to ride as you go. And that is where Rossi shines. I think he would have hung back and waited to attack on the last couple of laps.

Either's going to be one hell of a season! Bring on Austin!

@Martin (not Whitmarsh)

lol high 1.54?? where that came from. Lol jorge set 1.56 at max riding above 100%(as he said) till 10th lap, then how come he could set 1.54, lol what are you smoking? Race is not Qualy or practice, that's called racing, you'll choke it when you see #46 in your mirror.
