Hi
#Codger
I use Rossi because that's what this silly trail is about "what ifs"and then there are million of scenarios:) So for everyone Rossi is the only reason why Rossi was not there to fight from the start because Rossi stuffed it up,
#kopbeen
If we talking fast laps who had the fastest lap of the Race, just remind me because we might not have seen the same race:)
Cheers Claes

If rossi did not make a mistake in the 2nd lap. I guess there could have been a battle between the two factory yamaha's for the win. And to see rossi lap 1:55's in the ending stage of the race with worn out tyres. I think he can still do it despite of he's age and the 2 years of nightmare with ducati.

Anyway, we'll see it on the coming races.

Hi
I do not know really but I sort of expected this from Rossi, batting out these laps on worn tyres after 12 years of racing in the top class?? really MM was doing the fastest lap of the race 3 laps in to his first race coming from 7th in traffic, and he was not to far of the lap times of Rossi in the end eather and no not after 9 years of perfect factory support and 2 years on a crap MotoGP bike No he did it after 2years on a b loody Pimped Supersport Machine, thats my friends is sensational, Rossi did really good but he is 1 of four factory bikes that can win and we all know that he would be fine on a perfect bike, but miracle??

Ja ja, we got it Claes, Rossi didn't do anything special, just a plainly average, run of the mill race.

Too bad he was there actually to ruin the show :P

Oh, and P.S., yes MM was great as well, not many doubts he will be the next super champion (and this goes beyond Sunday's race, as there actually were rookies in the past that did even better on their first race)

Two things...

It's really, really funny how many people on Crash now claim that they "expected" this type of run from Rossi. It's b0llocks really!! Except for us die hards who never lost faith in Rossi, there weren't many people at all expecting him to place above Dovi (laughable I know) let alone stand on the 2nd step and over-shadow the Hondas. I wish there were a better way to access previous comments made because I'd love to call some people out on their B.S.

..cont

As for MM's fastest lap of the race (not to be confused with the race record as was mistakenly stated in a previous post by a contributer) being used as a juxtaposition for Rossi's performance, Rossi strung three 1'55 laps back-to-back (14-16), had a 1'55 lap on lap 12 and a 1'55 lap on lap 22.

most people have foget rossi has had 2 seasons not being able to fine tune or use his amazing talents. actions speak much louder than words. finishing 2nd in the way he did. try and think what his going to be like whens his had had a few more races. he is a true master on and off the bike. what a great inspiration following him has given me than words can say.
