It occurs to me that you don't have to like Rossi to enjoy his performance, he made the race worth watching. It must be hell to be a hater and watch.

Among others Rossi was a victim of the new Quallifying format. Someone is going to get hurt trying to qualify in a 3 lap dash. There is only one guy good at that and he has gone to be cruel to fish.

Hi
@Codger
Don't get me wrong I like Rossi as a racer but I do like upcommers better they have more honesty, there are to many stories about how Rossi cut friendships and other like ,I am the No1 rider do this or else, baby sand pit stuff to respect him as a person (like Billy Corgan dating one of the Veronicas and blogging on Dolly sites but I still think Smashing is the best in the world), he do bring good racing, at least now when he's not the fastest, back in the days with no competition he was as boring as any that pulled away and stayed away,
and thanks for recognising the V8 driver's quality:)
Cheers Claes

Rossi did a very great job.. but i'm not sure if he hadn't made mistake early he would have beaten lorenzo. Lorenzo's performance was so perfect that night... that mistake rossi made early cost him the opportunity to fight for victory and that was rossi's fault...

Claes, good response. my post wasn't directed at you, it wasn't directed at anyone really. I was commenting how sad it is that some guys seem to miss out on the greatest sport on earth due to their inherent dislike for some or other rider.
What quality, midfield V8 or being cruel to fish? :)

@Claes - are you really that stupid? I seem to recognise you from the last couple of years, new name... Wonder why you have changed? Rossi like it or not is the greatest racer of a generation and still has the ability. Anyone with any brains and watching him since he was a kid knows that. The fact he managed to string a series of consistently fast laps together to catch and pass that group on a bike low on fuel and thus getting increasingly harder to ride and less powerful is incredible. MM is a star of the future but you must know this age of electronics makes all abilities of rider much closer... MM doing that on a 500 - I think not...

@Claes

lol you're the same old Clues! lol

Without competition? lol like he beat Casey at Assen 2007 from 11th? yes of course Casey was no competition, bus his bike was. or maybe Laguna 2008 or Catalunya 2009, Sepang 2010 from bottom end or maybe when he won his 500cc title on a satellite Honda?? and titles won nothing in lower categories?? you know why? coz he was nowhere up to riding old two-stk bikes. You cannot be the best rider and only win two jump ship titles!! I can see you cry when Rossi wins another title. I guess a certain retired guy would feel even worse!!

Hi
@Mr Lewis
I have always been Claes (you must be talking about @lad) and I did not talk about Rossi as a rider I talked about his personality that I don't like, and yes MM is new and there is electronics out there but he will very competitive this year and in the future, might even win it this year:) and I thought they all where low on fuel, I did not see any pitstops:) They all had worn tyres they both came from 7th place the difference is that Rossi have done this for a while and MM have done this once:)
Cheers Claes
