Why does Bradley have a blog? Why not?
For a start, he takes the time to do it- as fast as Casey Stoner was he'd not do something like this, Brad is a gent and an ambassador for the sport.

We're so quick to turn on riders who aren't winning every week. Pedrosa is one of the fastest riders in the world but he still gets grief from the Crash keyboard warriors. Toseland was twice WSBK Champion but due to bad luck and injuries he had to walk away from the sport... ..accompanied by the cat calls from so-called fans.

Be realistic, what do you expect from Brad?
Rookie season in a series where the top 6 are Lorenzo, Pedrosa, Rossi, Marquez, Crutchlow and Bradl. 7th is as good as it's going to get- even that's discounting Dovi, who might actually get somewhere with the Ducati.

Stick with it, Bradders.

Can't help thinking it might have been better for Tech3 to let Bradley off the leash a little bit more in pre-season testing, as he might have found the limits there rather than under race conditions. Dialling down the horsepower and keeping him on old tyres might have been a useful tactic initially but I wonder if it left him a bit unprepared.

Hopefully he can bring the bike home next time and gain some much-needed experience.

UK website. UK bias. Perfectly understandable. As a UK citizen reading a UK website I like to hear from the UK riders.

It would also be good to have ones from Cal and Scott.

Simply because those nice people at Optimum are funding the blog, with the regard to the gent image etc Moto GP is for the best racers in the world not riders. The moves made by Rossi in the race were about wanting to be the best not be a gentleman. What I do find it hard to imagine is that in all the testing he's never rode the Yam with a full tank and new race rubber. Unfortunately Bradley isn't the real deal. Yes people may disagree with that comment but you can not hide from the fact that a championship is entered to win it something he has never done in any of his career.
When I watched BBC the other day it suddenly dawned that his Press/Management team is headed but Nick Harris who is also the commentator for the BBC that's why he's all over the news.
MORE RACE WINS AND LESS PR= REAL PEOPLE TAKING HIM SERIOUSLY

WOW hang on for a minute, Bradley has stated MANY a time he has justified his place in Moto GP. If you read one of his gazillion press statements he says so. All this rookie rubbish is the biggest bull Ive ever herd of. If you are in the best championship in the World then you have to be able to back it up. Ianonne Didn't crash.........

@ian - "Iannone Didn't crash......"

But Bradl (Moto2 champ) did, and Spies crashed in Qualifying. Pol Espargaro also crashed in Moto2 qualifying and he is the one continually said to be more deserving of Bradley's bike.

People crash no matter their skill level. At least it means he's pushing the limits and the bike the furthest he can.

My god how much rubbish people talk on this site. Smith crashed in is first race, so what??? Rossi crashed out of his first and second races in 500cc. It doesn't mean anything. I'm not saying Smith is the next Rossi lol but come on, it is just a crash, it doesn't mean anything, give the guy a break.

Ah the Colin Edwards boot camp..."never look like a championship threat but ride 'okay' on the best equipment"
Don't reckon Bradders needs to go if I'm honest.

Scott Redding did amazing though in Moto2. He deserves a break like Bradley's had throughout his career. I think Redding could be the UK's next world champion. It's certainly won't ever be Smith.

the most undeserving privateer rider, is he paying for his ride? seriously, the tech 3 bike is a podium chaser and why oh why is it given to a one who has yet to really prove his worth...
