@Busa Boy

Do you know what jump shipping mean? I guess not!

Going from superior machine of Honda to the underdog Yamaha was Jump ship??? lol if yes then you don't know what it means. He went from title winning machine M1 to dog of bikes Ducati. He went from the best twice to the underdog. and his move to Yamaha can't be considered as Jump shipping coz he was there and won 4 titles on it, he just went back where he was. The retired man's move from Ducati to Honda was jump ship!!

@ Facts @ V...Racer

You can dream as much as you want.

@ Facts

lol head to head HRC??? lol maybe you don't even know that Rossi won 3 back to back titles at Honda(One of them on satellite Honda). and casey? lol he despite having no Rossi in contention couldn't defend his title. lol

Rossi is always used as the benchmark, whoever wants to get some credit tries to beat Rossi. Try harder, You can't be called the GOAT with only 2 premier class titles and non lower class title.

@ Ducati exposed...

Do you know who sent your hero to retirement???? right, the person you said was exposed at Ducati. But it is very interesting that the same exposed Person can get Factory Yamaha, all the media attention and the number of his followers is increasing. The same exposed person is hero to likes of Marc Marquez. Imagine if anyone picks Stoner as a hero. Not even american choppers would do that!

Gee there are some porky pies being told on this story aren't there?
Just to set things straight and they aren't hard to find on wiki etc if you take 5 seconds to look.
-Rossi has NEVER been on a non full factory supported 500/motoGP machine.
-Stoners 2006 RCV was 3rd tier behind factory Repsol bikes and semi factory Konica and Fortuna RCV's of Tamada Melandri and Elias(?).
-Stoner improved in his final year on the ducati compared to 2009 with more points therefore he did not spend all 4 years going backwards.
-Rossi only wished he could have beaten Stoners worst result on the ducati BUT he didn't.

@ therehewent - To be so good and so passionate about something, and from such a young age, means you have got to have it in your blood - born to it! The fact that Valentino is still as ambitious and still as determined after all these years shows he will find it very hard to walk away when the time finally comes, but why shouldn't he stay for as long as he can and for as long as we want him to? Some riders are so serious about their racing, and maybe deep down and behind the scenes Valentino is, but what we see is a man that lives, loves and who's life is bike racing and he manages to put so much humour into it which just shows how much he enjoys himself!! I hope he carries on for years as I will miss him and MotoGP will just not be the same!!! Oh and he definately has a life off the race track - a very good one and one where he can choose to do anything he wants!!

'-Rossi only wished he could have beaten Stoners worst result on the ducati BUT he didn't.'

Quite right, however Rossi did beat Casey on two occasions last year. Worst bike against best bike.
How on earth did that happen?

3 podiums vs...
1 championship, 16 wins, 9 other podiums, umpteen poles and fastest laps...
and to be fair I just took those numbers from the young bucks first two seasons at Ducati.
Now, how on earth can that happen?

Hey everybody, Slide is back...
Well we all new that you would be back before the race, but where are you going to be AFTER the race?

I wonder why all of the moaners fans remember only the last 2 seasons.

Ok, we get it, Rossi couldn't win on the Duc blah, blah, blah... Is that the only thing you can say about Vale??

Guess what, Rossi won on everything else...Did moaner won on every bike he rode???
