Whilat I disagree with Mr Yardstick, your comment is also pretty dumb Lad. Titles in the lower classes mean FA. The top class is where the proven fastest men on the planet race, the lower class is quite rightly for the juniors, some of whom will make it the top class and many who wont. There are numerous ex 250 champs who have done nothing in the premier class, and vice versa.

Strange how people bang on about the Schwantz era but arguably todays riders are fitter and at least as skilled. The likes of Lorenzo and Stoner would have been completely capable of beating Schwantz and Rainey etc whether on 500 2 strokes or anything else for that matter.

Pity is they won't even let Kevin Shwantz thro' the gate at the GP he fought so hard to bring to his home state of Texas......that's how to treat an icon and former world champion!

lol, saying lower categories is FA is ultimate ignorance that can only be said by fans of a certain retired rider. It is more difficult to win in lower class that premier class because the competition is much much closer. and Premier class doesn't determine who is the fastest rider on the plane, and by the way what is the meaning of being fast? setting one fast lap and crashing in warmup? or doing timetrail?? It is all about skill and race craft that make a rider the best, it is about winning when your competitors are 1 second p/l faser than you ( laguna 2008) it is about coming from bottom and win race(Sepang 2010) it is about beating young guns at 35, it is all about racing. Nobody cares who sets the fastest lap, they care who races better. well you know who is the best racer. btw, how many overtaking CS has done in entire his career?? or can you tell us about at least one of his remarkable wins? Watch Assen 2007 VR vs CS, you'll understand it better.

"Toni Elias cost Rossi 2006's title and gifted it to Nicky!! "

a lot you know lol... 1st off, like its been saida thousand times... you have to finish to win...

but it wouldn't have mattered anyways, Rossi needed 13 points to win it, so even if he had won the race, he still would have been short. go watch the race again, n do the math. oh n if did see it, tell me who did win and on what bike?

lol, Nicky said himself that Toni gifted him that year's title. now you say otherwise?? maybe you know more than him. Rossi needed only 6 points to win 2006 title. He lost it 247 to Nicky's 252. It is a simple arithmetic, 252 - 247 = 6. Is it really that difficult to understand?? I wonder how you calculated that.

You can't be serious, or at least not entirely serious. Casey couldn't even handle RC211V let alone NSR or other 500s. Maybe Jorge, but not Casey!!

'It is more difficult to win in the lower classes'

Dude. Why do you think they are referred to as the lower classes? You're either still in high school or just a bit thick. Our both.
