Lad, you are the one not being serious. "Stoner cdnt handle the RC21V" ?. Like him or not, he was the only one who could handle the Ducati so I dont think a 500cc two stroke would be any problem. Peakier to ride but far less power too. 600 supersport bikes go quicker round the tracks than the fire breathing 500,s used to. I love nostalgia too but lets not get too carried away by the "myth"

If Stirling Moss is the best F1 driver never to have won the world title, these figures indicate the same could be said of Pedrosa in MotoGP. Impressive win company he's keeping

Just because his riding style suited Ducati that doesn't mean he could handle 500s. His first year on RCV211V is a proof to that. RCV211V was not even 500. PLus he spent 5 years in lower categories, mostly on 2-strokes and produces nothing.
