wow, sorry to hear that, but lemme guess you've upgraded to those fancy LiPo batterys that everybody's crazy about...? but big names like Yuasa, Exide, and Unibat who've been in the business of batterys for YEARS still aren't touching with a 10ft spanner. it's important someone stops and asks why this is...?

Not good news, but compared to what else has happened inTexas in the last 24hrs, doesn't seem that important. Hope the grid does a minutes silence for those that have died in the texas explosion.

It couldve been worse. Fingers crossed all will be ok for the race. Something like this happened in the WilliamsF1 pit lane garage too a year or 2 ago....

shamarone...You're dead right, its terrifying to think that these batteries are being shipped around the world in cargo planes, and are an accident waiting to happen. I believe at least one 747 cargo plane went down with an uncontrolled fire in the hold.
Also look at Boeings 787 battery issues.
