read in an aviation journal a month or 2 ago that airbus is going to cancel christmas on Li and return back to Ni based technology in their 787 competitor, the new A350 'cause of that JAL flight.

yeah, they're the sub-contractor, and when boeing dollars come rolling out of washington, you don't turn that kind of cash down. but as you see, due to liability concerns they haven't adopted ANY of this technology in their core business. however, word is they didn't follow the specs as boeing outlined. take this with a grain. this is what i was told. LiO battery explosion last year this time at GM's tech center anyone...?
