You know this is like being fired and having the union get your job back. Yes, you're back in but No, they don't want you there ! Probably should just take this circuit off his "to do" list

a grand prix in texas without schwantz is like christmas without santa claus.
if COTA think the role of kevin in bringing a moto gp to texas was not instrumental they need to think again.
i hope kevin gets everything he deserves from them, and then some.
he is a global superstar with more balls than all the nonentities in suits put together, and certainly has the backing of every single person that ever saw him race.

Kevin Schwantz is an absolute legend and a true ambassador for this sport. This move of publicly barring him from the inaugural Texas GP is if nothing else surely a PR disaster? I can understand how our friends across the pond must be totally PO'd with the way he appears to have been treated here. I actually don't care what has gone on between the 2 parties I just want to see this kind of political BS kicked right out of the sport.

In an interview with Kevin Schwantz on the german website, from the details Kevin Schwantz gave, it sounds like he was instrumental in helping the COTA project come to fruition and pretty much the middle man between COTA and Dorna. He payed for Ezpeleta and Javier Alonso's stay in Texas when they first came to start negotiations. He also describes how the COTA management often asked for his help by appearing in promotional videos, and also helping with the financial aspects of the track as well as appearing at press conferences.

But then at the 11th hour when he was about sign a contract with the COTA management, they stabbed him in the back and went to Dorna to make a deal without him. He also said that what hurts the most is the fact that Dorna helped COTA stab Kevin in the back. Sounds like they are dishonest bunch of liars and they deserve whatever bad things are coming their way.......
