You gotta think DP needs one of his lightning starts to lead lap 1, and maybe then 'contain' Marquez (who if gets clean air then his pace in Q suggests he might be gone as long as he keeps it on the island).

Even better for JL maybe if HE can holeshot - maybe pace thru the twisties might enable him to keep his nose in front?

Whatever - it looks like the race needs somebody in front of MM and able to stop him time-trialling away (like JL did in Qatar).

The big problem? That pesky drive off corners and unmatched acceleration those HRC's have - makes it easier for them to pass, while making it much harder for them to GET passed by others.

Can't see (barring incident) anything other than 1 of the HRC's top step today.

Wise words Jorge.
The way I see it playing out:
Dani and Marc will go hareing off with Dani desperate for a win, Marc won't have read the script and the pair of them will shred tyres trying to out do each other. All Jorge will do is bide his time waiting for the inevitable. Meanwhile Valentino will mess about for a while, overtake the sat boys just to look good and make his way to a creditable fourth if he can get past Cal,
and possible third if he's really lucky.
There, no need to watch it now, - take the wife out for a meal and talk about decorating the lounge!!
