Great point re Cal beating Rossi. Satellite rider on a fraction of the contract and rep Rossi is riding on and still got the better of him, even after making that mistake. Kudos to Cal.

Cal totally smoked Rossi today. Though I'm sure it wasn't Rossi's fault. He'll tell us but I think he had a sniffle, and a headache. Maybe a sore bum too. That's why he was embarrassing.

Thought MM was fantastic and will probably cost DP his chance of the championship this year. You wonder how long Honda will bankroll a rider who seems incapable of winning a championship.

Really impressed with Cal today. Hope Yamaha start pushing factory parts his way. As to Bradley Smith cannot see why he has that ride.

Rossi - poor performance today. Bike not set up properly but we are talking about an umpteen world champion. Too early to say but 2013 could be when we find out that 2 wasted years at Ducati has lost Rossi the edge.

Did you notice that JL thanked Cal for his fourth place twice.
Once in a BBC interview and again at the post race interviews. Is this a request for Yamaha to upgrade CC's bike or a dig at Rossi for not helping JL. Mind games already?

Agree with you on most bit Andrew although not the last part. I don't think Jorge is the type of guy who would play mind games. Even when he arrived as a youngster, he didn't lap up to Valentino, he had an attitude 'he's beatable' and he has matured over the 5 years. If Cal can keep up his performances there might something for him from Yamaha although I wound't be too sure.

As far as the helping part is concern, Rossi is the only guy who can 'help' Jorge separate the Honda boys.

"Honda has sunk more than $10M in Pedrosa and will never see a championship with him.

If Yamaha was smart, they'd give Cal a bike like Lorenzo and Rossi because he is capable of quelling Marquez and Pedrosa. This would provide valuable assistance to Lorenzo. "

Agreed, but I think Hayden deserves the second Repsol spot. He's won a title on a Honda and can do it again if he wasn't on the Du-cruddy!

"This is a difficult track for us," the seven-time premier class champion commented bluntly. "We expected to do better, but I had a lot of problems in the race because I had a problem with the brakes. I had a vibration under braking because I lost one part of a disc, so this didn't help. We knew that we had to defend here we know that when we cannot attack we need to try and arrive in the top five, but today it was sixth.

Dani better takes some kina fighting classes b/c he just got his azz kicked by Marquez, and dint even fight back... That is no way to win a championship if your gona just roll over and take it....

Dani may be fast, but he needs to be WAY more aggressive this year if he is gona have any chance at a WC... b/c the way he going he's gona be motogp's record holder for most wins w/out a WC... and Marquez may be the one to get the record for the youngest ever to win a WC.

wow talk about some garbage comments being posted here. Well Marc for sure broke the 1982 record just in case anyone was wondering. That track reminds of Aragon and little bit of Moguello.
