Well done Marquez! Hondas were awesome today :)
Rossi's fastest race lap was only .327 off the other Yam's set half way through, closed the gap from 1.28 seconds in Q2 to that in the race. If he gets within a second in quali at a circuit, I think the others will have some problems with him :)

I will start by saying I am not a rossi fan,now I have fixed a few brakes in my day and for a rider to be travelling at 300 kph with a part of a disc missing and his engineers allow it they should be sacked on the spot along with Burges,If a pice broke off there could be a crack in the disc which could have exploded and at 300 kph you dont have to be an expert to know what the result could be, if that is the type of engineers there is at Yam they are a disgrace he should have been pulled into the pits straight away.

A troubled race for Rossi...His fastest lap times are interesting though.
Finishing 6th means he is still close in terms of points.
Jerez is going to be a blast!

Weldone to MM, finally, everybody understands that Pedrosa is completely useless...oh no, wait a minute, he is good coming 2nd...

Have you noticed that the Rossi fans still talk only about CS I thought that the man of the day was MM:) It will take a couple of races until Rossi fans will diss MM as much as Stoner because he will win:) Hopefully for the Rossi fans he do better in Spain:)
Cheers Claes

One v good race, and one lack-lustre. Too soon to work out much yet I think.

Thing is though... VR has the Factory bike, and has THE most experienced and succesful crew, & all the rest.

4th here with the HRC dominance would have been acceptable to the team I'm sure. 6th will be too if there really is a brake issue (though a chunk out of a carbon disc - thought one of those would shatter - so it must be a very minor blemish maybe, or he'd not have been able to continue?).

In closing laps VR had a couple of foot-off-peg moments that had nothing to do with brakes though.

Jerez will be more illuminating for sure - he loves the place, knows it like the back of his hand, has his beloved Yamaha etc.

Wasn't expecting him to do that great here. He just didn't click with the circuit at all and it was obvious the other guys from the test could get round it better.

I'd say he's most annoyed about Cal though. He could have dealt with being second yamaha to Jorge here, but Cal was brilliant. If he hadn't have run wide, he would have been challenging for the podium, as Jorge was pushing!
