For the haters and saddies that watch motoGP to enjoy seeing people fail, this is not a complete interview.

Rossi clearly said "I was already not fast, and then this and this issue added up to it.. ".

Possibly he could have caught Bradl and maaaaybe close to Cal.
He needs to quali better anyway from now on and, as he said, perform well also when in difficulty.

@ the 'other' Codger......good post, couldn't have put it better myself.:)

@crash. net. Please get a grip. Encourage registering and keep the name changers in check. It is laborious reading the same recycled attacks on Rossi on every thread, whether he performs well or not.

To any real fans on here, did you see the M1 trying to throw Rossi off, twice? Vicious wobble.

Also Rossi said that at the moment Joerge is, considering everything, the best rider out there who's in the best form.

Go hear the whole interview on GPone.

And to the Rossi fans, no need to say "wait Jerez and see", there's nothing to prove from VR by now and we can take great races from him as they come, and support him anyway however it goes :).

I'm amazed at all the pathetic comments on here about Rossi. What is it with a lot of people??
Is it because most of you are about 14years old and have only started watching Motogp in last 2 yrs. All the riders on here are the best in the world at what they do and and should be applauded. Rossi got the Yam ride because he is still super fast and will be at the front or thereabouts for the rest of the season. Just watch. You obviously have quickly forgotten the 1st race!!

It is not just is age, in number of years. He is the rider with the second longest career: that means that his drive and motivation aren't sharp anymore. Still he is still as good as Dovi or Crutchlow (which is much better than Schumi second's coming in F1, for instance). Barros and Capirossi had a steeper fall of form, but, from now, each year (or each race) that passes over Rossi will take him something more...

wont happen mate, this is why i hardley visit this site anymore, when i do i just filter the page to registered comments. which usually brings it down to just 1 page instead of 60.

another reason they wont do it because the amount of traffic flow though the site will drop dramaticly as the posts will. Unless someone who has no life goes out and registers 100 differnt email addys so they can keep posting complete crap.

OT, was a difficult weekend for alot of riders, wouldnt of been nice doing 300kph , getting on the brakes and having bad vibrations coming. anyone who rides a bike would know that even doing less then half that speed its rather unsettling.
