I wonder how many posters can ride/ ever have rode a motorcycle? to say any one could ride never mind race with part of a disc missing, shows an intelligence level of something approaching an amoeba!

re: "If a pice broke off there could be a crack in the disc which could have exploded and at 300 kph you dont have to be an expert to know what the result could be, if that is the type of engineers there is at Yam they are a disgrace"

other than when the technology was in it's infacy (read 20 years ago), if memory serves, i've NEVER once heard of a failure in carbon/carbon discs in the modern era (bike world)...? yamaha's clearly experiencing money problems. a whole lotta "firsts" outta them the past 2 years that have NOTHING to do with the podium. scary.

Rossi has a hard time with new tracks it seems thats for sure. But you race to race haters are boring. Jerez and lemans, mugello coming up catalunya I think he will have pace to win one of those and podium 3 of 4. Do I expect him to win the WC no but anything is possible. Good ride by crutchlow if he can eliminate that one mistake he makes a race he'll be on the podium soon.

One of the fastest tracks on the calendar, not the place to have a disk problem....phew!

Thanks for the apology, no problem and not really needed.
At least you didn't use my name to post rubbish. :)

@srad...As little more than an amoeba myself, I strongly object to being lumped in with the haters (I do envy their youth though, I certainly wish I was back at school)

Rossi has not forgotten how to ride a bike, only heforgot how to ride it fast.
Whether we like it or not, he lost the speed to win a race. Hard to accept the truth but that is the fact.

In all honesty,i think some are being overly harsh on Rossi here.Ok he had a bit of a poor weekend in Texas complicated by brake issues, but look what happened in Qatar.Started 7th,finished 2nd.He had the race pace there. We pretty much knew Texas belonged to Honda before the lights went out.
Rossis trouble at the moment is his qualifying.Under the old system, riders had the luxury of popping in and out of the pits to tinker with this and that. That luxury has now gone.Bikes have to be spot on for qualifying now as the time allowed is so short.Any error in set up and you are in big trouble. This seems to have happened to him here.He cant afford to be starting from row3 every race.It simply leaves him with too much work to do.Lets see what happens in Jerez.

#Codger "To any real fans on here, did you see the M1 trying to throw Rossi off, twice? Vicious wobble" So it is the M1 now, before it was the GP11-12 now the M1, I feel sorry for Rossi who always ride the worst bikes:)
