This boy is a mediocre racer but a great demagogue. What he said is like a joke. He undermined all my respect for Herve Poncoral. How could Herve bring him to Motogp. Must be one of his biggest blunders.

@ Andy Smith2510

I would imagine that his team have also turned the horsepower down until he gets a handle on it.

What a crock. If that is the case Smith has absolutely zero business in the big boy class.

The best satelite bike in the paddock and the team has to hold his hand so he doesn't fall off? This is Moto GP, the training wheels are off. Crap or get off the pot.

I get it that it takes time to adjust to the bike, tires and brakes. There's "lesser" riders out there that would be doing (IMO) a lot better job than Smith has done. Simply finishing a race is not good enough, not for the bike he is on.

Next round Jerez, I will remind some of you Bradley cut his teeth in the old Spanish 125 championship, before his 125 GP career took off. Many a current motogp rider has history in that old series. Hopefully he will be given some good setup data and advice from the team, and with his track knowledge and wind in his sails he wont be running with the CRTs. But if he still is, the turn 1's will be very interesting :-) please don't comment on my reference to his past, the kid done GOOD.

To all the Bradley haters, I will simply quote Eurosport MotoGP commentator Julian Ryder from yesterdays race: "I keep hearing from people who are hard of thinking, that Bradley doesn't deserve his MotoGP ride...utter tosh".

He also explained how Bradey was riding a two year old Tech 3 Mistral last year and rode the bloody wheels off it to get the results he did. I won't bother wasting my time posting more, as no matter what I type, the haters and trolls will always ignore the actual facts and figures and make a decision based on nothing more than poorly informed opinion.

@ DennisKwok Julian Ryder is a journalist.Because he may have watched a few races in his time does not mean he understands anything about riding a bike. Not clever quoting a journalist, they never let the facts stand in the way of a good story.Fact Smith is a rookie, too bad for him so is the rider that won the race. The actual facts and figures show that in his GP career he has under performed, that's a FACT.

"Turned the horsepower down until he can get a handle on it" ????

Nobody seemed to need to turn the horsepower down on Marquez's bike until he can get a handle on it. He has been matching, or out performing, his team mate Pedrosa on nearly every preseason test, race event practice session, race qualifying and race day performance. That is mission accomplished.

To be honest I would have liked Bradley to prove all the haters wrong. But 12th place, behind the Ducatis and Espargaro is just a poor show. He's never really looked anywhere near quick enough to justify his place, probably to early to make a definitive decision, as people in the know have said, Jerez will be a good test for him, he knows the track and has had enough experience on the bike, can't help but feel the ride should've gone to Redding, or even Espargaro, Pol or Aleix!! The rookie excuse doesn't really cut it, look at Marquez, or even Ianonne!!

Sort it out Bradley or lets give everyone what they want and get Scott on the bike.
