I was also one of the ones who had doubts about Marc Marquez in MotoGP, but I have to say, this lad is brilliant, absolutely brilliant!! It is 15 years since Valentino made the same impact as Marc and it has taken until now for another youngster to come along with the same kind of God given talent! MotoGP now has another racer who is going to keep us on the edge of our seats for years to come - something it seriously needed! The battles we are in for are going to be epic because like Valentino, Marc is a rider who holds no fear and who knows exactly where he wants to be and makes sure he gets there!!! Fab stuff!!

As for any comparisons to Casey Stoner then I'm afraid there is none in my opinion!! Marc Marquez is the real deal, he races from the heart, he loves what he is doing, in his own words - he has watched the best - Valentino Rossi and learned from him, so what can possibly compare to a has been like Casey Stoner who walked away because things were not how he wanted them to be?? Real racers get on with the job with a smile on their face - again, no comparison at all!!!

Why are all the Rossi fans trying to make out like MM has been blessed by Rossi, get over yourself.

By mid season when he has exposed your has been idol just like Lorenzo and Stoner did you will bring out all your hate.

@ #lifeb4death

Why are the Rossi hating trolls so intent in desperately trying to get Rossi fans to hate Marc Marquez?? LOL! Rossi fans like Rossi because they the like good exciting racing, that's why they also like Marquez. It's not just because the kid is so fast, but because he's a fierceless fighter that is not afraid of battling it out with other riders. I'm really looking forward to see what he is able to do in the future.

"Dr Abbas

Marc is not a new rossi
Marc is not a new stoner

Marc is Marc

He'll bigger then them."

Ah we have someone who can look in the future or predict the future in that case.
I'm going to by some lottery tickets I need your help in this, which numbers do I have to choose?
Please make me rich....

Rossi kicked ass on a "satellite NSR", Rossi won on the 4 stroke bike, Rossi got a time penalty for overtaking under yellow and still beat the field with a margin, Rossi won on a bike that was rubbish in '04, Rossi won whilst starting in 12th position, Rossi won 100 races in the king class.
Yup Marquez will certainly beat Stoner, but why are there people around here with a short time memory who have "forgotten" all the things what Rossi did achieve. Remember Qatar, who made the race pretty damn good, yes Rossi. Remember Texas it was a parade...
Just never ever write a certain rider off and pretend he didn't achieve historic things. People who are comparing Marquez with Rossi or saying

when you do compare some riders please count age aswell,, Rossi is already past his prime time and surely lost some of his weapon like skills over the past two years and that happens to every human naturally, every legend will face this.

you won't dare to compare JL and MM with Rossi if he was in his 20's...

MM is an incredibly exciting prospect, but I'll refrain from saying he will be greater than Rossi (or whoever your fancy) until the moment (which is a BIG IF!) he gets there. Until then he still has most of the path to undertake. Let's watch every moment of it - and if he falls short of having such a career as Rossi , therewill be no disgrace, I am sure.

MM Similar to CS - Unregistered

Even Rossi has compared MM to CS27. He told MCN:

“He rides very similar to (Casey) Stoner and this is also because the Honda is like this. He is very spectacular and the bike moves and he slides and he always touches his elbow on the tarmac. He is very good and is already so fast. He is particular because he has a strange riding style, maybe something new. Jorge and I ride in a more classic style but Marquez is something different."
