yeah, i know what you are saying... im not a troll or a hater, every rider from bsb to gp i respect, im a track day amateur that will never have the skill to get anywhere near a bsb superstock rider.

i just think ben is at the stage that his confidence has gone, and when that happens its easier to use any excuse you can think of to justify poor results instead of holding your hands up.

most people know about his off track personal and legal issues, which must affect him, but at the end of the day if you are getting paid the bucks your personal life stays at home and you go to work and do your job. his personal life is clearly affecting his work, and before long he will hurt himself or someone else. imho.

Biscuit, just curious, what legal issues? I didn't know there were any for him. I know his mom can be a straight monster in the paddock though. As a huge spies fan it just is hard watching him go through this right now. His whole career he has been progressing until just recently. I'm really hoping he can make some sort of a comeback.

Maybe he just wants to get out of riding that CRT bait and rest and recuperate and stage a comeback in WSBK on competitive machinery. After all he only has a one year deal and if he claims he cannot perform in most of the upcoming races Pramac would have no choice but to let him go and replace him. Rossi got 20 million to suffer on the Ducati so why should Ben stick it out and do it for peanuts? He ain't going to AMA but I'm sure many competitive WSBK teams would be highly interested in signing Ben.

it all goes back to the case a few years ago when he lost almost 2mill to (cant remember his agents name sorry).. and found out only then that mommy spies owned 51%of him... apparently there is more coming.out of the woodwork and mommy spies isnt just a hard ass, she is a lot more. which i will not go any further on because this is a public forum and i will not defame anyone.

You say only as good as your last race? I say only as good as the money you bring in. How good was 7 time champion Rossi on the Duc? It's obvious the Yam is a better fit for Rossi and he is a 7 time champ. If Rossi has to contend with a bike as crappy as the one Spies rode last year the shiite will hit the fan (of course it seems some of that should be directed at Spies crew). Is Spies through? I don't know and neither does anyone else. I hope he can get it going again but like everyone else I'll have to wait and see.

@ prof-x

Your comments are posted for one reason and one reason only... To get a response from people and make you feel important. Am I right?

Your opinions are ridiculous. The sillier they are the more people respond (just like I am now). Does it make you feel better? Great! Mark me down in your journal as another sad mortal you owned!
