I remember a couple of years ago, reporters around the paddock were saying that Ben told them that he hadn't ridden a motorcycle at all during the off season and he was more interested in talking about cycling and his new team than about the new gp season. He seems to have lost interest. As for others saying he is only in gp for the money, well I would be surprised if the BMW contract wasn't at least competetive whith what he has now.

To be on the best machinery, you have to prove you know how to use it. Spies had the oppurtunity but did not come up with the goods. Not everyone can cut the mustard in Moto GP, and sadly Ben was another one.

Ben Spies
Now starting to take the next step to oblivian by showing his true skill on how to ruin a Moto GP career
His lack of profersionalism is starting to show Ducati would be better of to discard hom and put someone from Moto 2 or Espargo on board someone that will
give a full effort

haha come on you guys its been what 2 whole races and already you've thrown the towel in on spies for the entire 2013 season?!? At LEAST wait until the halfway point. Hopefully the ducati will be more reliable than that cursed #2 yamaha (rossis cracked disk brake in COTA confirmed it). I'm sure once he's back to 100% health he'll at least be up there with dovi.
