Yes but if you give chuck norris the knife , he can win!
as far as back marker bikes, there has ALWAYS been back marker bikes. CRT bikes are not as fast but the rest of the feild has never been as fast as the front guys.
you only have to go back to the year 2000 , the grid was full of slower bikes, including some teams that did not even qualify for some races!!
It will only take a wet race one round and the likes of espargro can get into the top 5!

People STILL insist on saying they want a grid full of full factory spec bikes.

So - you want a 2 or 3 tier uncompetitive thing like there is (admittedly so far MGP is a bit better in 2013 - so far), or to level the playing field with bikes without the hugely expensive cr@p.

Its a no-brainer. Fans would love a grid full of Moto2 or CRT's if they had all the stars on them - just look at the ticket sales for ANY event like Karting where these guys are involved. People just can't see the wood for the trees.

dude your so pessimistic... cant you see your the only one other then Carmelo Ezpeleta pushing the whole CRT bandwangon... they are krap! like colin edwards said in an interview, "my bike is a piece of sht" I think this comes from a source that knows.

and Carmelo limiting the number of grid places wont help the next season either, yamaha and honda are providing cost effetive bikes that could overfill the grid, new teams could provide competive bikes for the more then overloaded new talent moving up in class... where are they gona go? (maybe to much for you to grasp) theres not enough room now ,and there isent gona be anytime soon, and anyways, who would wana move up in class if all your gona be is a back maker ? you need to wake up and smell the coffee... but in all actuality after this year it wont matter so injoy it while it last roflol......

whats even funnier (from reading other of your post) the biases of your argument is that you don't like/want the factories to have control but you say look at moto2 a complete success, no?... and Honda supplies ALL the motors giving it complete control kina hypocritical when you look at it...

both Honda and Yamaha are to provide a complete competitive package in 2014 at an cost effective price, lets see how many of your budget racers hold on to Carmelo's pipe dream lol...
