Everyone had injuries, bad luck and all odds but how long will Dani keep saying the same,, 8yrs on arguably motogp's best factory in the history is too much long time without a world title...

Dani just missing that last small thing what will make him a champion,, but it's always the last small improvements that are most difficult to achieve,, in this regards Dani really needs to up his level...

Kid who is outclassing the Senior teammate is also having that spanish passport,, so time is really running out as fast as his Honda does...

It's difficult to comment for this year, but it seems that whenever Dani has a teamate on "equal" machinery then he gets outshone.

Hayden got he better of him is 2006 (Dani was a rookie though) but the next year it was clear the 2007 bike was designed for Dani so I'd guess Hayden in 2007 was Repsol's #2 rider. Stoner cleaned Dani up in 2011 on an equal bike 'cos Honda needed the last 800cc title, but I believe the tyre and weight debarcle was Honda's punishment for that, so it was back to Dani having top bike again with Stoner given some donkey to ride in 20012. Now Marquez has an equal bike, he's making Dani look a bit tired. I'm not naive enough to believe all factory bikes are "equal" all of the time....

Well, this is funny, someone has an opinion and then, the "clever" other person, instead of keeping his mouth closed, gives a response which is rather ridicilous. Dani is a great rider, has won a lot, but clearly not a world champion material in MotoGP. As so many commenters have already stated he is too fragile, especially mentally. And poor guy has never had any luck. Which is a shame, because he deserves to be a champion!
But a fact is a fact, Mr. puig, as Kevin will be remembered as a world champion, always, and his name will stay in the books, Dani's name, in a few years after he retires will diseappear from the people's mind. Unless he wins a championship:) which now, that Marquez is here will be almost impossible... (Personally i hope Rossi can have the tenth one:))

Kevin only said what most people are thinking ! Dani had his best chance last year and threw it away with a slow front end low side , dani has had a good bike for long enough to be a champion but unless jorge, marquez, cal and rossi retire im afraid he will not ever be a moto gp title holder , he is still a world class rider .

People tend to forget how much the Honda suffered on 800cc against the likes of Ducati, n then Fiat Yamaha until Japan 2010. Then Stoner won the championship in 2011 n Dani missed the title 2012.

I don't think Pedrosa lacks anything. If his bike is right, he'll surely give it a go. and remember he has faced one of the worse injuries n he would surely be careful about henceforth.
