"You [Schwantz] were a great rider, super spectacular, but always in the shade, first of Eddie Lawson and then Wayne Rainey" - Alberto Puig.

Why is Puig so mad ? It took 2 years for Stoner and Rossi to be WC in the elite class, 3 years for Lorenzo.

I thought Schwantz was just telling the truth.

Dani needs to reach another level if he wants to win a tittle against the likes of Lorenzo, Rossi and probably Marquez now (?).

MotoGP is a teamsport these days. Dani needs a mental kick to get to the next level, nothing else. If he has his good days, he is as fast as anyone.
A good manager takes care of this, it is one of his most important roles.
If Dani after 8 years has not got a world title, people (read HRC) should look at the manager too and take action if needed. If AP is doing a good job, Dani has nothing to do in MOTOGP anymore.
My feeling is that end of last season, DP convinced me that he has what it takes if given the right surrounding.
Maybe HRC is just bad at getting the best of their riders?

Right or wrong about Puig holding him back, I don't know. But I do know that Championships mean everything. Nobody is going to look back fondly and say, remember all those years Dani fought for a Championship and never got one.Schwantz is a Champion. Pedrosa isn't .Even after 8 years on a factory bike.Thats a fact Puig can't dismiss

i swear to god schwantz is desperate for publicity. now that his career is finished he craves attention. first of all his COTA nonsense and now he feels the need to publicly bitch about someone who actually still rides gp.
time to let it go kevin, enjoy your retirement and stop being an a$$h0le.
in next weeks news: schwantz says stoner and vale are both garbage, just to get maximum attention from both camps.

He forgot to mention Schwantz's Even Knievel type of crashes which he was known for as well. For Schwantz to say the series (MotoGP) 'is nothing without Rossi' is purely sour grapes. Rossi's era is done and over with.
