Schwantz might of won more if he were on the Yamaha or a Honda, he won on a bike that was not up to par while Pedrosa is on the best bike. Pedrosa is a very good rider but I don't think he will win a MotoGP WC as long as Lorenzo and Marquez are around.

wow Puig said Schwantz has had a racing school for years and nothing has come out of it like the euro schools. It's true though. Nicky was the last US WC in 06... nothing else after that.

king kev is bang on the money ,how this man has held the best ride in moto gp without taking a title is beyond me only puig comment i agree with is the comparasion to rainey and lawson although to be fair they were 2 of the greatest riders ever and kev always had in my opinion to much loyalty to suzuki who knocked out inferior machines

When I see Puig on TV he seems very intense, focused and stern. From this I think Alberto does push Dani hard and doesn't want to hold him back at all.

Maybe this is what Kevin means when he describes Alberto as 'too much' . The parents holding their child back also applies where they are too dominating and demanding their siblings should do XYZ.

This is sad from, Kevin as has been said this is a desperate cry from a lonely man. A great rider in his day but more famous for his crazy, aggressive riding style. He was no Rainey or fast Freddie but a people's champion, and please that Suzuki was not that bad Doug chandler, barros and even our Mckenzie were not that far from Kevin come seasons end. It is sad he seems to be headline hunting and reliving the glory days. At least AP has moved on and helped others, more and more Kevin is coming across as a desperate hanger on tryin to live in others reflected glory.. Rossi comment. Great response from alber though made me laugh!!

Typical loudmouthed and overrated yank gifted his WC by injured Rainey. Nowhere near as good as Spencer, Rainey, Roberts, Lawson, Mamola and thats just Americans, Didnt have the best bike mind you.

I think what Kevin is saying is what a lot of people think. He just said it openly and not very tactfully. Dani is beginning to look like a rider who will never achieve the title he probably deserves due to mistakes, poor choices, and timing. Most riders need all the elements of talent, equipment and luck to win a championship. Now timing and luck are not on Dani's side. Marquez is a phenomenon and his team mate. I have always thought Puig was too over bearing with Dani.
