Why so pesimistic Marc, haha, in preseason testing in Jrez the Yamahas were clearly faster than the Hondas! Front row on Sunday could very well be Lorenzo Rossi Cal, (in no particular order!)

I'm no longer much of a Rossi fan, but I have started to re-warm to him when he shows humbleness now after the arrogance before the Ducati period. but I do think he will be very quick here and is definitely in with a chance to win. put it this way, if he ends up 6th here then he is for certain a spent force.

"look in qatar if he's (Rossi) not made mistake he would have won." .....what's the point here? if Rossi had started 10 sec before every one he too would have won, and if, and if and if. RACING is not about if's, but about who crosses the finish first w/o if's or but's or MISTAKES. JLo (whom I dislike ) won 2 championships without any 'if's' because he almost never crashes and hardly ever makes a mistake.

@joe850

Point is Rossi had the obvious pace to take the win IF he hadn't been held up in traffic and made the mistake. How many other Riders had that pace? None except maybe Lorenzo. So yes it's an important fact.

As for the"JLo won 2 championships without any 'if's' because he almost never crashes and hardly ever makes a mistake"
Rossi has always been the poster boy for mistake free dominance and has 7 motogp championships to prove it. Lorenzo only started "mistake free riding" when Rossi wasn't there to challenge him.
You WILL see mistakes from Lorenzo this weekend.

I agree that over the last couple of years, Lorenzo has had what could be called mistake free riding, but again, I agree that the reason for it is because he hasn't had Valentino up his jacksy giving him the heevy jeebies!! There must be nothing worse than having Valentino Rossi breathing down your neck and it is the threat that he is at any moment going to sail past that makes riders nervous and make daft little mistakes!! Great isn't it that not only will it be Valentino doing this, but "Dangermouse" Marquez - bring it on boys as I am sooo looking forward to it already!!

I notice though that you chose not to have a go at the author of the comment but instead had a little dig at me.

So when do all the Ifs and Buts and Excuses for Rossi stop?
We are only two races in and Qatar is the IF race result dream and COTA is the BUT excuse race.

All this talk about how only Rossi can create fear into other riders or how Lorenzo only rode faultless due to Rossi not being there is an absolute JOKE.

You guys really need to get back to reality, its not like he has been away, he hasnt, he just hasnt been any good at racing for the last two years.

Its good to see him trying again but give up on all this bull$hit about his goodsake ability to create fear into other riders, it just isnt true.

BTW, if disagree with this statement I'll take that as you still in denial and struggle with simple facts
