if Ducati is holding test like Yamaha is after the race then put Dovi and Hayden on the lab bike and let them at it....

new chassi new electronics... hows about a new front end that gives them feel not fall lol - hope they make a step up with whatever they are doing.

Dovi will do well with Ducati. Anything progress has to be good after the massive disaster with Rossi.
Handing over $30 Million to a backmarker who crashed, moaned, and got lapped by CRT's will go down in history as one of the greatest fails of all time.

So..... their test rider has never even raced a true Motogp bike, and he's supposed to know how to push and develop the new bike?

Blind leading the blind.... I seriously wonder about the decisions Ducati makes. I was hoping Audi acquiring them would turn things around, but so far i'm not seeing it.

Dovi has only proven so far that the Ducati continue to go backwards. Sure does ok in qualifying but Rossi has never been a qualifying person, he always goes forward in the race. Where as Dovi has only gone backwards in the race and ends up finishing where Rossi did lol.

It is the natural pace of that Ducati bike, I just think they'll drop out of Moto GP, rather than getting it right again like they did in 2007.

Dropping out of Motogp is the last thing we want to see. There arent enough manufacturers in the sport as it is.We want to see more of them returning.I think it would be sad to see Ducati leave.

And your point is?
In F1 Ferrari's test driver for many years was Luca Badoer, contributing to many championship victories.
The moment they put him in a race seat (2009) he was HOPLESS.

Point is, you don't need to be a good racer to be a good tester :p
