The difference between the sat yam and the factory is .2 per lap. (Read the mcn article). Aka whenever crutch doesn't lap within .2 of jlo or rossi, he wouldn't have done it even if he were on the same bike they are on. That said, in his defense, being .2 per lap slower adds up over a race distance..

Leave Casey live his life.
I think, he is hppy outof political MotoGP.
Its a big gift to yellows and MotoGP, he is retired.
Now are they closer, with Casey would be Casey, JLo and Dani again + maybe MM +0,6 sec.
o know, JLo dont have to risk and catch no one.
Pace slow down or are not better (but we are year of development and tyres better)

Some said this way of Qualifying should be scrapped because it's to dangerous and to much pressure and it cause crashes. I say it's great and if you can't handle the pressure you should do something else:)
Great job JL and MM hope to see a stunning race tomorrow:)
ps Who said that MM is the one that bin it all the time:)
Cheers Claes

@Claes - Good points. Some riders were saying that the track gets greasy as it gets hotter (over 45 deg in afternoon). Doesn't seem to be a problem for Lorenzo.

Pedrosa might surprise some in this race.

@Frank Cannon

Pedro 0.3 faster than Jlo when he crashed? Motogp times doesn't say that, in fact the first two sectors of that lap weren't Pedro's best.

There's no way pole could have been Dani's.

The race will be another story, though. Not so sure Jlo is gonna get away with it easily.

Interesting session but 15 mins is over if you make a mistake would like longer....Frank Cannon.

To be honest with you Frank,i wasnt keen on the new system when it was introduced, but i have warmed to it.
It makes for a much more interesting qualifying. One mistake can be critical.
But,lets not forget, these are the best motorcycle racers on the planet. This is what they are paid to do.
So far,i havent heard any of them complaining about the new system.

Congrads to Lorenzo, he continues to give everyone a master class

For all those bagging Rossi just wait, his strategy is all based upon the real race VALENCIA, this is the race that Rossi plans to win and win it he will.

Just you wait, Valencia is not far away and you will see why he is the goat
