Cal Crutchlow will be lucky to get on the podium this season. He puts no thought into how the race is going to go, he just goes out there every friday and saturday with the soft tyre in trying to be top on the timing sheets and then wonders why he doesn't have the race pace.

I can't believe he actually said he is aiming to beat Rossi this season..he couldn't even do it last season!

Honestly where does the Rossi can't ride around stuff come from, he's won on every motorcycle he's ridden bar one and he came 2nd on that a couple of times, there aren't too many can say that. Not too much talk now, about how ducati have been unleashed now he's gone..
Honda are in control of the championship as they were last year but they have a better team this season. Yam are in serious trouble. Cal is nowhere Rossi by the way, a couple of quick laps followed by 20 slower ones isn't enough, he needs a couple of slower laps then 20 quicker... a simple enough equation.. in theory

What a bunch of haters really! No Rossi did not win that quite clear but to say he was miles behind come on girls he was only 5 seconds of the second place when he had shut down remember MM and JL kept it going all the way to be less than .2 of a second a lap down on the world champ surely not too bad? I am sure Rossi will not be too upset he will have to up his game though if he wants a win! But again to be honest I remember a few races last year when even CS was of the pace but he never gave up and got on and won a few races! Brilliant by MM though and he must continue like that so that the likes of JL & Co know he means business JL asked for that he left too much room, only a loser would not have gone for that gap!

This might be the turning point for Dani, and will trigger a series of wins that can be crucial in the latter stage. Last year Jorge won a lot of races in the 1st part of the season and that handed him the WC. This year will be difficult, because Dani and Marc are going to be up there. Consistency alone will not get you the title. This year will be who will win the most races!

Lorenzo's fault. He knew Marquez was there and should of defended his corner, he didn't then got all shirty in park ferme. Hilarious. Just a shame it wasn't Rossi doing the punting.

'Rossi should retire'

Haha, I was waiting for this one. If the 3 Spaniards at the front are being taken as a yard stick then rest of the grid should pack their bags and let them 3 battle it out for the Championship.

Perspective please, front 3 are riding at a different level to rest of the field. They can push at maximum from the word 'go' not every one can do that and coming months will tell us if Rossi still has to replicate that kind of form you're required to lead in today's grand prix.

Even if he can't, its not the end of the world for him. He's achieved everything there can be in Premier Class racing, these 2 years will be his swan song.
He'll try to enjoy the races and finish on a good note.

Please stop with the 'Cal should be on a factory bike' comments. He is great but not greater than the current factory riders. It's a competition and you have to prove yourself time and time again, like MM does
