The way I saw the incident, while he may have screwed up the corner entry, Marquez did get ahead of Lorenzo before they actually turned, and Lorenzo sort of went into Marquez. Debate, please.....

Also, I don't mean this as a dig at Jorge, but I don't think I've ever seen him win an outright head-to-head battle in MotoGP. I almost think he lacks last-lap/corner creativity. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Masterfully managed race by Pedro. Marquez heads back to his Moto2 Mania...... Lorenzo lucky not to be in the gravel as a result.

Rossi....... 4th but a long way back is probably wondering what he needs to do to get a win again. Maybe those 3 young Spaniards all need to fall off?

Well a sixth of the seasons gone and rossi is still winless!! My offer still stands no more than 3 race wins for him!! Great stuff from Marquez but it was Lorenzo who made contact!! Top three are looking so close for the championship, rossi seems to be fading away...

Rossi got not penalised in 2005.
Marquez no penalty.

Japanese rider (forgot the name) did very same move in 2005, just some races after the Jerez 2005 one, he got suspended for 1 race and had to pay 5000$.

Well done Dorna!

About Marquez manoeuvre: great on him for trying without fear. On the verge of ilegallity, but IMO just being enthusiastlcally agressive. Marquez at his best: both in his very fast last lap and his hard overtaking. I am all for it, but I grant Lorenzo the right to be quite mad against Marquez. Great last lap in any case. Better to be remembered for such a brave move than to not be remembered at all.
And Pedrosa was back to his wining ways which puts him back in the favourites stand.
Rossi: well, no surprise for me. He is a lot older and a lot seasoned than all the other guys. You cannot be at the top for ever. It's a pity but it is reality. He still is fast but he is away slower than he was... back in the days. Oh well, we enjoyed it...
