" I was with the top group but unfortunately I was not fast enough to stay with the top three."

That is telling it like it is. If it was Stoner, the moaning, hatred, and blaming will be to no end.

"Only 32 post, where are the Rossi fans with their custom excuses, come on, this was to be his great comeback."

It is his great comeback. Rossi could finish last and we'll still cheer for him. That's the difference with you young folks who started watching this sport since 2007.

so completeness, who did he have to contend with pre 2007? the great biaggi? the allmighty gibernau? and how many races and titles have they won in gp? fact of the matter is since 2007, we have seen better competition come up to gp. rossi has had pretty much a cakewalk up until 05 which is why he only has 2 titles since then. he's only going downhill and it was great for him while it lasted, but its just not his time anymore and there's nothing wrong with that. no one can be at the top forever.

I see some people have already started blaming the bike just like last year . Which part of the younger guys are hungier so ride that wee bit faster plain and simple reality rossi is still a very good rider but now has lost that extra edge he had when younger so sorry rossi fanboys deal with it or you going to have a sad year just enjoy he can still ride at this level and i don,t see why people bring stoner into this he was a great rider and i miss seeing him on track just for his skill you don,t have to like him but anyone who knows motogp will admit he can ride the wheels off a bike

Ok so basically Jorge is a lesser rider compared to Pedrosa and MM. And for 11 years out of 13, Stoner is a slow rider compared to the champion. As you said, the bike is not the issue it's the rider.
