Yamaha was an underdog when Rossi arrived. With maiden title in hands JL explained the bike advantage he had in the season.

Two Hondas have beaten the super consistent JL in two successive races and he now calls for more competitive bike, serious problem? Absolutely...

Two years without him yamaha's short lived manufacturers dominance has be regained by Honda because development of yamaha around JL in past two years is not upto the mark against Honda... So it's important that yamaha should listen to what Rossi says more than what JL says,, this will only do good for JL'S title chances.

Rossi looks like a fading champion but could still resurrect the yamaha dominance with his skills and JL should make the most of Rossi's contribution to defend his title...

Honda with it's deepest pocket amongst motogp factories will never have problem in financially aiding for developments,, but in later half of past season, Rossi and his team did fabulous job to keep Yamaha always ahead of Hond

your description is completely about one person: Mr. Moaner Stoner. I don't think we should call any of these riders pussy. It would be reall good for you mateto go out there and have a crash at 200km/h and then trying to hide your wet pants.because you are a pussy not anyone in this sport.

@tita:really??did stoner called any one arrogant kid,mad man and he is not trying 100%blahblah???wow that news for me ,bcoz for the past 3 decades only this pu$$y made such"mental war fare " worked on riders like sete, biaggi and co,but lorenzo & stoner was not afraid of this ****.remember how you yellow panty brainless fan girls would claim"lorenzo won bcoz rossi developed the bike".now what was he did on ducati he developed??ahh he moaned, moaned and thus he is entiteld for this "pu$$y"nick name.dont worry ,remove your yellow panty from the face and smell coffee,it will do good.
bye ...take care and come up with another ****ty post so i make fun of this Pu$$y and his followers

Let see, it tok Rossi 5 races in 2008 to get to grips with the Bridgestone tire and look what happened!!
i'm not saying this might happen again its just to early to judge.
in '08 everybody was writting of Rossi because he hadden't won in 5 races he wound up winning 9 that year, so a win is a sure thing this year and maybe even muttiple wins.

For everybody who says that there wasn't competition before 06/07 i've got this to say: Electronics!!!!
the advancement in the electronics department since 06 is huge. Prior it was rider skill after it was also rider skill, but electronics became to important. Do you really think marques can the ride a 500 2-stroke the way he rides a motogp bike?? of course Rossi uses electronics now a days, but he is still a rider who learnt to ride with his right hand. As Capirossi, Pernat etc. al said the old school guys (mostly Italians) ride the bikes based on feeling. When the feeling is not right they don't push as hard, rather than the young guns coming in now they know the traction control etc. will aid them in controlling the bike.

In Jerez when VR overtook MM, MM imidietly fought back and beat Rossi with a hard move.
There is no respect from MM for VR reputation.

But if VR do that incredible corner speed to overtook other likes AB,CC,SB they will stuck behind VR because:
-they thought VR was faster.
-they don't have bal**s to play hard to VR
-they respect VR too much

Rossi like MM very much but he will start to dislike him like stoner.

God Job M.Keep that spirit to the end.
Your style remind me of kuri boy and your spirit remind me of Sic.

@goat left sport
mate you are full of s**t, just like the rider you like.
he is not doing any well at V8s it's rather awkward than glorious...

Lo....l really, so qualifying in 15th first race and then 10th and then being 8th fastest in the race at tracks you have never been to and in a car you have only driven a few times and come from only racing bikes all your life, is pretty damn impressive.
Once he gets used to this typre of racing he will be with the front runners for sure.........go bag a rider that is still here and shouldnt be and leave a legend alone.
