I feel a bit sad for Vale, he has lost a little and at this level that is the difference.
He is still a great rider and i'll always be a fan but unless things happen in front of him or he improves his level he won't be winning races again.

@ Remembering

Nobody is ignoring Rossi. It just so happens that Marquez's last corner play is the talk of the town (and rightfully so). I'm glad Marquez is doing the business and RACING controversially. It's exciting stuff, and there were many who called it last year. I like what he is bringing to the table.

@ICH

Yes I recognise what your saying yet Motogp is a dangerous place I have watched too many (Legends)
Champions be seriously injured to want to see Rossi Go the same way

Knowing when to Go is perhaps the most important decision for a champion Rossi Hopefully will get to enjoy the benefits of his career .......

I have mentioned he should have retired after his crash in 2010 not out of Hate yet out of respect
sadly time takes its toll .......Doohan RaIney Lawson
Gardner all ended there racing due to the body not being able to take it I enjoyed his racing hope he can enjoy the rest of his life with out serious injury .........

@ Ich
I am retired I also have injuries from motorcycle accidents
I speak from my personal Experience ..........
not like many here who I can assume are quite young from there anti this and anti that ...............
Hoy much enjoyment will Vale have if he Has a serious accident (always possible especially when Racing in the top class ) With riders like Marc there is no redline ..........ar la lorenzo incident on Sunday

Don't write him off just yet. At present he is 4th out of 4 Aliens, but at least he is still an Alien. ( At least until Cal learns to race as well as he practices )

If he is 'finished' as his haters are saying, why are they not baying for the riders behind him to retire?

It's of no use speculating anyway, I'm sure that Rossi is savvy enough to know when to start winning WSBK Championships.

Rossi has bet a lot of money on him winning the championship this year. He is just farting around getting the odds up a bit. Then he's going to win every race and donate millions of $ to starving children and save the planet. Because he is Gods Son, sent down to earth !

@ Codger 'Don't write him off just yet. At present he is 4th out of 4 Aliens, but at least he is still an Alien'

Sorry Codger, but Rossi is not an Alien. He lost his Alien status back over 2 years ago.

He needs to at least win a race to get his Alien badge back.

So far this season, we have 3 Aliens.

Im not by any means saying that Rossi is done, because I personally think he'll win a race or two this season, but only under circumstances that will rule 1-2 of te aliens out of contention.

Its hard for anyone to disagree that he is not at the level of the top 3 though.

It has got to be the bike that is the problem as the pace Valentino had in Quatar was amazing and the ground he made up to finish in 2nd was massive!! Jorge was also struggling to keep up with Danny, and as he already had a start on Valentino, the gap between them stayed pretty much the same. Even Jorge said the Yamahas were not fast enough, so not just Valentino!
