An interesting split in opinion here. Some, like myself see it as a racing incident, others pour scorn on Marquez.I suppose alot has to do with who you are a fan of.Look at Stoners pass on Bautista at Mugello last year.Harsh but legal.Yet he was totaly slammed by some as pulling a dangerous move. Those people are now calling Marquez a hero for pulling off a great move.Yet i see little difference. There is always controversy when riders clash on track. And there always will be.The real test for race direction will be if Marquez is involved in another incident like this in future races.Aggressive riders always court controversy!

@objective the difference between Rossi's move on Gib n Marc's move was Rossi's angle aimed for the apex. Marc was nowhere near heading to the apex. It wasnt even a pass and seriously wouldve taken both them out if Jorge's reaction wasnt good enough.

Darth,

Simo did not start the same way.

Marco's incidents were often in the first few laps, pushing way too hard on cold tires.

Marco never won a GP race or showed the level of talent Marqeuz has.

MM has the talent to not need to be so aggressive and make moves that cannot be stuck without the help of another riders machine. He has been allowed to get away with bouncing off other riders, chopping across their front with no reason to do so. What will Dorna do if it goes horribly wrong? He's been the chosen one and lucky for a while now, someone will get bit eventually...

Hi
A move like this is for guys that cant overtake smoothly and are desperate not to loose like Doohan Rossi and now MM.
If they where fast enough this move would never happen.
Cheers Claes

I'm about positive that If Jorge would have been able to back off a little mm would have over shot the corner , ran off track and Jorge would have came back under him and easily got 2nd. The collision is the only reason mm was able to turn in. Watch it again. He was upright, on the brakes not EVEN turning in until JL turned in. I think Rossi's move in 05 was a bit rough but this was the same move exaggerated. At least VR was turning in. . It's racing and it was exciting but to me Jorge kinda gave it to him in 2 ways. Leaving the inside open, then helping him turn in. It happens fast . Of course Jorge saw what I saw now and knows mm was never making that turn on his own
