Best that Ben never bothers to come back. It is a shame but he has completely lost it in his mind. Somebody somewhere got him to believe he cannot do it...

Spies, what in the hell were you thinking, staying in GP to ride the crapola Ducati. Was it the prestige of being in the "big class" because that went away the moment they let anyone on a superbike in (CRT). Was it the hope of getting on a factory team, well that went away with the lackluster season you had last year. Please, just heal up, finish this season and move back to WSBK where you will have fun and everyone will enjoy having you back.

I wonder if Ducati promised him an 1199 ride is WSBK next year since with the impending rule change they're only funding Carlos? Maybe have him move to the lab bike when he heals for race development for the 2014 season?

A shoulder separation is a big deal in terms of the rehab and recovery having had a similar injury from a bad cycling accident myself, there is no quick fix, so Spies is doing the right thing trying to get that shoulder stronger. Needless to say he will take some flack in the meantime......
