"No word on Rossi but he is a shadow of his old self and has probably already lost interest."

People are so quick to write ANYTHING off that isn't immediate these days! Such is today's world! Bradley Smith didn't perform as MM right away so he's immediately branded unworthy, and he's doing fine.

Rossi never said he would win the championship this year and he won't, or next year. But he is at least realistic! What is it? 17 years in the World level sport? I doubt he'll win a championship again, but laugh as you may, will any of the current crop last so long and still bring as much attention to the sport?

Wow the rossi haters have started already im not a fan but do respect what he can do on a bike and the next thing to happen will be when his fanboys lose faith and start to attack him . The truth is he has lost that extra edge but he could still lap anyone on here unless stoner is lol He is still one of the best in the world just not top 3 is all

This young man is amazing to watch. we should all be sitting back and enjoying his talents.
Ive been passionatly watching this sport for 30 years, and this young cat is why i watch.
Great rider, freindly in the paddock and a good all round sport.
i was impressed when he confronted J L right after the race, "no hard feeling hey?? just good raceing"
what a GUN!!

When it comes to developing a bike, Rossi would have to have the upper hand for the simple fact that he is the only rider in a long, long time to have successfully defended his championships.

Lorenzo and Stoner are good, but they have never repeated a previous year's success with a repeat championship the following year.

This is Jorge's year to prove that he can.

I agree Marquez is incredible, its so nice to see those sort of antics in motogp again - he has probably won more fans in his 3 races as lorenzo in his two championship winning years!

Also, a very well written article for once, in depth info. and it all made sense, well done!

I'm a bit disappointed so far, I was looking forward to this year racing with Danny Lorenzo Marquez & Rossi back on a Yamaha, I found the racing boring so far, I hope it gets better soon, when I look back at the 500cc at Philip island where they swapped the lead 5 times in one corner, they weren't thinking off points the only thing they had on their minds was winning.
