I really don't know why people insist on the "9 world titles" Badge when trying to make Rossi look good!
I mean, every time there's a race and they display the riders stats they only show 7 titles, which is in my opinion the correct figures, because they relate to the current class (500/motoGp)
If you guys go that route, one can also say Marques already has 1 world title, Lorenzo has at least 3 and so on!

Yamaha will catch up honda. Lorenzo only a few second from the winner( if not collide).
I think it's gone to be hard year for top 4 guys.
I love to see this.
Honda beat Yamaha,Yamaha beat honda.

@ Tiburcio you can tell and you have every rights to say Lorenzo has 3, Marc has 1 already and so on... But nothing comes close to 9... combined in all classes your heros title doesn't come close to 7 which Rossi did in premier class alone...

It was a bit disappointing from Rossis point of view. But, its just puts things into perspective. Everyone was hoping for something spectacular, but he's human and the 2 years at ducati have taken some of his edge off

He has a lot of work to do to keep up with the spaniards, but he isn't a million miles away. He just needs to get his eye in and he'll get a bit closer. Hopefully he gets a win soon and that sharpness he's just lacking a little of should hopefully come back.

Although the Yamaha will now suit Lorenzos style more because he's been there to develop the bike to his style since Rossi left, it isn't his fault that it suits his style more and is slightly different to the way Rossi develops it to 2010.

Now Rossi has to find a balance between Lorenzo's style and his own!

Nothing has change after his Sepang victory 2010. After that Jlo beat him in every race usually about 7-9 sec. diff. at the end, which means he is faster about 0.250-0.300 per lap.

Funny how people get ahead of themselves .... Only last week virtually every poster here had written Pedrosa off as a title contender, lol. Now the same with Rossi he's finished, blah blah. It's early days, the season's long, Rossi knew before moving to Yamaha that it would take him some time to start winning races, it's only normal.

Dave.
Where in my post am i blaming Rossi for anything?
Tell me,i am all ears mate.
Has Rossi blamed Lorenzo for not developing the bike?
No,not a word.
Its the Rossi fans who are laying the blame. And the old pattern is being woven again.First it was Stoners fault for not developing the Ducati, now it is Lorenzos fault for not developing the Yamaha.
Can you see the pattern Dave?
Try taking your blinkers off,you may just see it!

"I really don't know why people insist on the "9 world titles"..."

I don't know why you should insist that he doesn't have them.

"If you guys go that route, one can also say Marques already has 1 world title, Lorenzo has at least 3 and so on!"

Who said they don't?
