@99,

Again, this thread is not about ducati or its riders so what is your point?

(LOL - I really get a kick out of mimicking other's arguments...)

Dave.
Why cant you answer my question?
You said i am always blaming Rossi for things.Well, give me an example mate!
The reason Ducati has been brought up is quite obvious to anyone with an ounce of intelligence.
Its the old pattern Dave, you know, the one you refuse to see.Rossi struggles to win at Ducati...........Fans blame Stoner.
Rossi so far is struggling to win on the Yamaha.........Fans blame Lorenzo!
See the pattern now mate?
I have predicted since the beginning of the year that Rossi should be winning races now he is back on the world championship winning bike.So far that victory hasnt come but its early days yet.I hope he does win races this year.
BUT,if he doesnt win any races this year, will that be Lorenzos fault for not developing the bike properly?
No,i didnt think so either!

Guys listen please
you may not agree with me but you have to agree with ROSSI who you support.
He said himself its 80% RIDER AND 20% BIKE so oviously even if honda is fast that does not make a difference.

Maybe VR46 should try his M1 with the sweet handling 2010 frame as a comparison with the current frames which seem to have lost the braking and turn-in advantages which he exploited so well.
If he is faster on 2010 frame it will show that chassis development has led in wrong direction. If 2010 frame is NOT faster he will have to learn how to exploit the advantages of the newer frames .

I agree with Tetley, I think Rossi may actually start moving towards M1 old parts which would suit his style better. One of the commentators actually mentioned something like that during the race, he said it's possible Rossi would even prefer to be riding Cal's bike as it has more weight at the front and would suit his style better. One thing's for sure, the Hondas seem to be a quite superior to the Yamahas at the moment and Yamaha needs to do something about it and do it soon. I was surprised to hear Lorenzo in the post race interview say that his bike is not competitive, not sure where that came from but I'd never heard him complain about the bike before!

after seeing a pic of rossi and jlo talking bikes at the test, judging by Vales hand gestures, i really think they will come together this season to get these yams going strong.

im sure the haters will come up with some pathitic comment

Don't pick on Dave, his blind devotion is to be rewarded. It must be hard for him to know deep down Rossi has given us his best and what a best it was.

If not for Stoner and Lorenzo , Rossi may have reminded competitive but it's OK he has given all he can.

Be kind on Dave, he is hurting and overcoming the Karma pill

Trudat,

Where i saw people getting ahead of themselves was when the comments were posted that said, :If Rossi has a good QP he will win for sure: or "vale races better and his race craft will take him to victory"

He is not as fast as the others and to be that fast he will have to learn to ride like them. He sees their data, its a question of being willing to do it. Something he wasn't wouldn't do while at Ducati .

Ducati appears to be making progress, something that was missing for a few years. Thats a good thing and might keep them in GP, even after the huge amounts of money wasted in the past.

No point in useless debates... Accept the fact that M1's development around JL is not upto the mark against rampaging honda, past two races have proven this.
Yamaha needs to claim back their supremacy in braking and acceleration if that takes too long then the title fight might get narrowed down between the two honda guys...
Rossi will take care of braking issues...
Lorenzo will work to achieve acceleration...
Yamaha will soon rev up... cheers guys...
Don't worry about top speed, these two guys know how to manage without that...
